What Is an Affiliate Link?
An affiliate link is a tracked URL that records when a visitor arrives at a retailer or brand website through our platform. If that visitor makes a purchase, the retailer pays us a referral commission — typically a percentage of the sale value. The price paid by the consumer is identical whether they arrive through an affiliate link or navigate directly to the retailer's site.
Affiliate marketing is a standard commercial model used by independent review platforms, comparison sites, and health publications worldwide. It is one of the primary ways that independent editorial operations sustain themselves without relying on brand advertising, sponsored content, or paywalls.
How We Use Affiliate Revenue
Revenue earned through affiliate commissions funds the operational costs of Sarvabhi — including third-party laboratory testing fees, expert panel compensation, editorial staff costs, and website infrastructure. Without this revenue, we could not maintain the level of independent product evaluation that distinguishes our reviews from brand-sponsored content.
The Firewall Between Commerce and Editorial
The most important thing to understand about our affiliate arrangements is what they do not do. Affiliate commissions do not — and cannot — influence:
- Sarvabhi Review Scores. Scores are calculated using a fixed five-criterion methodology applied consistently to every product. No brand can pay to improve its score.
- Ranking order. Products are ranked by score. A product with a higher commission rate but a lower score will appear below a product with a lower commission rate and a higher score.
- Inclusion in the database. Products must pass our minimum scoring threshold to be listed, regardless of whether an affiliate arrangement exists with the brand.
- Exclusion from the database. We do not remove a product from our database because it earns us no commission. Conversely, we do not keep a product listed that has failed our re-evaluation standards, even if it is a high-earning affiliate partner.
Which Links Are Affiliate Links?
On Sarvabhi, the following link types are typically affiliate links:
- "Buy Now" buttons on product cards and review pages.
- "Official Site" buttons that link to a brand's direct website.
- "Claim Offer" buttons on our Coupon Finder pages.
- Short redirect links using our
/get/URL structure.
Links to clinical research databases, government health resources, and third-party lab verification services are not affiliate links.
Our Affiliate Partners
We work with a range of supplement retailers and direct-to-consumer supplement brands through their affiliate programmes. Specific partner relationships are not listed individually here as they change over time — but the disclosure principle applies universally: if a link on this site could earn us a commission, it is an affiliate link, and that relationship is governed by the editorial firewall described above.
FTC Compliance
In accordance with the United States Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), and equivalent disclosure requirements in other jurisdictions, we disclose our affiliate relationships clearly and prominently. This page constitutes our site-wide disclosure. Individual pages containing affiliate links may include additional in-context disclosures.
